Today, Mrs. Brower's class earned Donuts with a Deputy by cashing in their CAT's Cash (classroom money earned either individually when a student's name is drawn during the weekly Goldie drawings OR as a whole-class for demonstrating positive behavior during Specials classes)! Thank you to Dept. VanDis for joining our 4th graders for this special treat today! 🍩

Go Green! Go White! 💚🐾🤍 Way to show your Wildcat Pride today, Pinewood!

We had our first Goldie Celebration in honor of reaching over 3,000 green tickets! We had our first outdoor assembly and recognized our Big Goldie winners from each class. Check out the video on Facebook of the kids singing the Wildcat Way song too! 💚🐾🤍

Not only was it crazy hair / crazy sock day today but it was Donuts with a Grown-Up this morning! We loved having so many of our “grown-ups” visit Pinewood - thank you to all of our volunteers who made this event happen as well! 🍩 🧦

Go sports! ⚽️🏀🏈⚾️🏒
It was so fun to see so many teams and sports represented today!

Throwback Thursday was a hit! ✌🏻

Check out these amazing STEM projects from a few 4th and 5th graders! 🪤

This morning we celebrated our September Wildcat Way students of the month! These students were nominated by their teacher for being a great example of Responsibility! We are so proud of them! 🐾

Nothing is better than PJ / Comfy Day to start off our Homecoming Spirit week! We can’t wait to see all of your crazy hair and silly socks tomorrow! 💚🤍

More from PJ/ Comfy Day!

Check out this AMAZING fall artwork from some of our 3rd and 4th graders! We love seeing their pieces brightening up our hallways! 🎨🍁

Mrs. Palmer’s class bought a PJ and Stuffie Day today with their class CAT’s Cash! CAT’s Cash is earned when the class demonstrates expected behavior during Specials classes. Students can also pick CAT’s Cash as their prize off of the Goldie cart during the weekly drawings. Way to go, first graders! 🐾🧸

Mrs. Washburn’s class earned their first Puff-Ball Party for demonstrating expected behaviors! They chose a PJ and stuffie party. Great job, first graders! 🧸

We loved having some of our former Pinewood football players visit us today in celebration of tonight’s Kids Cat game! Go Wildcats! 🐾💚

Mrs. Roper’s 2nd grade class earned a special reward for reaching 70 stars for Super Star behavior today. The reward was having a “Mystery Reader” and the guest was Mrs. Palmer!! 📖 Her former students were very excited to see their 1sr grade teacher!

Our 1st and 2nd graders enjoying doing different stations during their PE classes today!

We are so excited about our new sensory paths! We now have a path in both the upper elementary wing and the lower elementary wing. Our students were surprised and happy to see these new regulation tools!

Welcome back students!

This afternoon JPS welcomed back staff for our annual kickoff celebration! We loved seeing our amazing team return to campus, including the mother-daughter combo of Pinewood Teacher Sara Brower and new High School Teacher Abigail Lovins. Assistant Superintendent Leslie Philipps honored our staff members who reached the 20-year and 30-year marks plus we heard an inspiring, emotional message from Superintendent Brandon Graham about helping our students succeed this year. We're excited to see everyone for the first day of school tomorrow!

Kicking off this week’s Fall Sports Media Day photos is football!
